FOOOOOOD!

It’s been a few weeks since I gave an update on how my eating habits have been since moving to China almost three months ago. This post won’t be too long as I don’t want to repeat previous posts, but I have had a lot of interest in my updates on food and my eating.

A LONG-DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP

Dear all,

It would seem nowadays more and more people are embarking on long-distance relationships. With the growing opportunities that universities and various companies present, it is easier to afford to move abroad to work or study. This has certainly been the case with my boyfriend (Peter) and I. I made the bold decision last summer to accept a job offer that would take me 5,000 miles away from my other half. I have friends who have been in or are currently in a long-distance relationship, but have not heard of their struggles and their advice on keeping their relationships alive and strong. So, Peter and I went into this quite afraid, but confident we would be okay.

TWO MONTH UPDATE

Just a little update with how well everything has been going in China since I moved here eight weeks ago. Over two months have passed since I moved from London to Chengdu. I am definitely a lot more comfortable with my daily routine of teaching than I was a month ago. I love my apartment and how peaceful and beautiful this city is, and I love how well I have settled in here!

A WEEK IN HONG KONG: APRIL 2019

This week I had the very fortunate opportunity to travel to Hong Kong, a city that has been on my list of places to visit since moving to China. Hong Kong is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I was lucky enough to visit the city just as the weather has been getting hotter (but not too hot)! I hope you all enjoy a short blog post about my trip! For anyone interested, I have been and will be uploading more photos from my trip on both my Instagram pages, you can find them here and here.
