SKINCARE IN CHINA PART TWO

Since writing my last post about products I have been using at the beginning of May, my skin has improved so much! I have been sticking to a rather vigorous routine with my face, and the results seem to be paying off. From May until now I have been using some of the same products and I have also found new holy grails. (I also included the below photo as I was having a great skin day, because of the following products)!

These first two products, I use together every morning and evening. I did mention them at the end of my last blog post, and I am glad I have continued to use them so regularly. The “Clear Facial Cleanser” is great at exfoliating my skin. It works by applying the cleanser and then working this into the face, using the bristles at the head of the bottle. It is a gentle and non-intrusive way of exfoliating my face, and because of this, I use it twice a day, every day. Following this, I always use the “Aloe Vera Hydration Cleanser” (my Rose version of this has finished). It provides that much needed moisture to my skin that is often needed on these hot summer days. Both of these products use natural ingredients with plant extracts, meaning they are safe to use as many times as is required.

Another product I mentioned on here a couple of months ago, is the “Aloe Soothing Facial Mist.” This is my new favourite product and I use it multiple times a day! I normally use it as a last stage in my daily skincare routine, but I carry a small bottle around with me all day and use it whenever I am feeling overheated or need some moisture back in my skin. It’s also a great substitute for a makeup setting spray; it works just the same. It’s so great that I have bought a jumbo sized one too.

Something that has been doing absolute wonders for my skin are aloe vera products. Any and all moisturisers or serums containing this as a main component are great for brightening my face and clearing away any blemishes. As such, I use the “Aloe Vera Essence Mask Cream” twice a day. It has a very thick paste-like texture to it, but is so cooling and calming for my skin, especially in this heat.

I have been continuing to use sheet masks on a weekly basis. Nothing new to say here, just that they are so hydrating for the skin, and there are SO many to choose from. That, coupled with their incredibly low prices, mean you cannot go wrong using them!

Austrian Tencel Film Cloths - ¥5 each (£0.58 each)

I am now getting to the stage where people are starting to notice a significant improvement in my skin. And it is because of this that I feel more and more confident with my naked face. I only wear makeup once every three or four weeks now!

Thank you for reading!
