Seeing as my makeup post got more views than I anticipated, I thought I may as well share my favourite skincare products that have been helping me through the cold autumn and winter months. I hope this is useful for someone!

My goal for the past few months has been to reduce the size of my pores and to keep them as unclogged as possible! I have found that the BiorĂ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser has been the top product for this! It is a face wash that can be used every day. I particularly love it because it contains menthol, leaving my face feeling so fresh and smooth after using it. It also improves the application of my makeup! A perfect product to use with this cleanser is the Garnier Anti-blackhead peel off mask. This product is a little more intrusive, so I only use it twice a week. It’s great for pulling all the muck from my pores and leaves my face looking noticeably clearer.

An exfoliator that I have been really enjoying is the Brazened Honey mask from Lush. This mask contains 100% natural ingredients leaving my face feeling fresh and smelling fragrant after using. Lush sell a variety of these masks, each one has different functions, so there is plenty of option for all!

BiorĂ© Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser - £5.39
Garnier peel off mask - £6.99
Lush Brazened Honey mask - £8.50

In my makeup post, I mentioned Makeup Revolution and their foundation. Recently this year, they released a skincare line, filled with affordable and effective skincare products. I have been using the below three products for a few weeks now, and they are great for my skin! The 30% AHA + BHA Peeling Solution is helping my previous acne scars fade away. I am actually quite surprised at how smooth my face is beginning to look after just using this product for 6 weeks! The Gold Elixir Rosehip Seed Oil has been really good at protecting my skin against the cold weather, by keeping it hydrated as well as smooth and radiant. I have been using it pretty much every day and am noticing a positive difference in the texture of my skin.

Probably the most popular product as part of the Revolution Skincare range is the Superfruit Extract Antioxidant Serum and Primer. It has a dual function; to be used as a primer under makeup but I tend to use it on days where I wear no makeup, to give my skin a healthy and natural glow. It is an iridescent liquid and smells wonderful too! I would highly recommend giving this one a go.

AHA + BHA Peeling Solution - £8
Gold Elixir - £10
Superfruit Extract - £10

One product that I cannot live without is lip balm. My lips are always dry and in need of some moisture, so I make sure to carry plenty with me! The Vaseline and Nivea lip balms are a must for me. I never go anywhere without them. A new product that I have recently started using again is the Lush lip scrub. A little pricey for the product you get, but well worth it. It always keeps my lips exfoliated and plump!

Lush cranberry lip scrub - £6.50
Both Vaseline pots - £1.95 (each)
Nivea lip balm - £1.99

If anyone has any recommendations for some good skincare products, please let me know! My long-term goal is to be confident enough to leave the house without makeup on but still feel flawless and beautiful. Just need to find the right products to get me there!
