MAKEUP FAVOURITES

A little something different for my blog today, I thought I would share a few of my favourite makeup products that I use on a daily basis. I often get asked about what makeup I use, so I thought that this would be beneficial for some of you!

Foundation/Concealers:
Like most people I know, I have an extensive collection of foundations and concealers. I am always trying to find the right one that will make my skin look as healthy and natural as possible. However, I always find myself gravitating towards the foundations that Makeup Revolution London produce. As you can see in the photo below, I have purchased all of their foundations and have their best concealers! The reason behind this being that they are unbelievable affordable, and they look great! Their different foundations cater to all skin types and I have found that they all look good on my skin, especially my latest purchase, the Conceal and Define Full Coverage Foundation. Makeup Revolution are a brand I have loved for years now and most of my makeup collection consists of their products! They often make products that are duplicates of higher end and more expensive makeup, but in my opinion, they are just as good, if not better. They also have a fantastic shade range!

These are the prices of the products above listed from left to right:
Revolution Pro Foundation Drops – £7
Revolution Conceal and Define Full Coverage Foundation – £9
Revolution Pro Full Cover Camouflage Foundation – £7
Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation – £5
Revolution Supersize Conceal and Define Concealer – £7
Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer - £4
Revolution Pro Full Cover Camouflage Concealer – £5

Brow products:
I never really used to bother much with filling in my brows, they have always been quite thick and a little messy, but after sorting them out earlier this year and looking after them a bit more since then, I have found that the Benefit Brow Zings is a really easy product to use that make my brows look full and natural at the same time. That and the fact that using this product takes about 10 seconds to apply, makes it a good purchase and worth the £27 I spent on it. The product comes in a range of different shades depending on how dark your facial hair is and inside is a wax to line the brows and a powder to fill. A little pricey for an eyebrow product but will last me ages and is very good quality!

Blush/highlighter:
I am always on the lookout for blush and highlighter palettes and earlier this year I found the Freedom Pro Blush palette (Pink and Baked). This £6 product has some of the most pigmented and vibrant blush shades (six in total) as well as having two beautiful metallic pink highlighters. Unfortunately, Freedom as a brand no longer exist but have partnered up with Makeup Revolution and similar highlighters and blushes can easily be found on their website as I believe they have very similar formulas.

Eyeshadow:
The last product I want to talk about is an eye shadow palette from Too Faced. It’s called the Chocolate Gold palette and has some really stunning shimmer and metallic shades! I have used this one on quite a few occasions and even though can easily be used every day, I tend to be drawn to this palette for more special occasions like balls and parties. For £39 it is quite an expensive purchase but worth it for the extremely good colour pay off, the range of colours and of course, the chocolate scent of the palette!

So those are some of my favourites, both drugstore and high-end! I hope some of you found this interesting and depending on how many views this post gets, I might do another post soon about skin care products that have been helping me during the cold months!
