Hi all!

Just wanted to pop in to give a quick update with how my anxiety has been lately. Sorry for being absent for so long, I was away for a while and then honestly completely forgot about updating my blog! But I am back now and should be back to uploading a blog post every week or two.

This will be quite a short post because to be honest, there hasn’t been much change in my levels of anxiety in the past few weeks. I just thought I would give an update on it and will try to post more regular updates on it every couple of months.

At the beginning of this year I reached the milestone of going through one year without having a panic attack. And I think I can safely say that with the new year approaching, I will be at my next milestone; two years panic free! For someone who used to have 2-3 panic attacks a day for weeks at a time, this is such a massive achievement for me! I am starting to feel a lot happier and more relaxed as the days go by and find new ways to beat the negative thoughts I always used to have. Even though I have not started my new job yet (I will talk about this exciting news in a post soon), I still find ways to occupy my time and keep myself distracted from feelings of anxiety. I have found that this is the key for me to start feeling happier and healthier.

It also helps that November and December are my favourite months of the year. With bonfire night, Peter’s birthday, my anniversary with him, Christmas and the new year coming soon, the end of the year is always full of happiness and celebrations! Definitely lots of things to look forward to.

The end of this year is especially important to me as my new job which starts in February takes me out of the country for a year, so I am spending as much time with my friends and family as I can!

I am excited that, like last year, I will be able to thoroughly enjoy the festivities without having to worry about my anxiety! I hope everyone else is looking forward to the last couple of months of 2018 – I know I am!

Lots of love,

B x
